[Update 30 August 2012: The method mention is this post doesn’t work. Use the following link to remove pending friend requests
[This method not working anymore. Updated link is above.]
Many of you had added too many friends on facebook and which are not still accepted. And some of you started getting message look like below.
So you may want to remove your pending friend requests. For this you may go to Account>>Edit friends but you didn’t find any unaccepted friends!!
Well few days back it was possible to view pending friend requests on facebook. But after facebook changed its interface it becomes impossible to view pending friends request through a direct interface. On Edit Friends, it was possible to view whom you have added but not yet confirmed or pending. But this list doesn’t show pending friends any more.
So what you do now to remove your unaccepted friend requests? You may try to remember each person’s name whom you sent a request then go to their profile and remove them from there. But what you do if you don’t remember each persons name separately?
Well every time i write my blog I keep in mind to give the possible full proof solution to my visitors. I found two solutions for this problem. The most easiest one is a facebook application name Pending Friend Requests ( http://apps.facebook.com/friendrequests/ ). Add this application to your account. Allow it. Then go to the application.
It will show up like below. Here you can find all your pending requests.
But remember one thing you may not be able to remove each requests from the buttons [Red boxed] on the application. What you have to do is to right click on the name of the person beside their profile picture and open it in new tab or window.
